Photoshop Problems

by Jenn (j3nn.net) on June 13, 2009

I edit all of my pictures in Photoshop and every time I tried to open it today, it would close immediately! I ended up having to reinstall it, which is always fun and set me back about an hour. I wanted to an update before I went to sleep yesterday, but I was waaaaaaay too tired. I guess 2.5 hours of exercise will do that to ya! I was pretty hungry, so I started the day off with a hearty breakfast that was actually quite light on calories, but heavy on yumminess:

2 Kashi original GoLean waffles (170 cal) with 2 large cage free eggs (150 cal) cooked over-easy in a nonstick frying pan with a little Pam olive oil cooking spray (15 cal) and then drizzled with 1 TBSP Fifty50 fructose syrup (20 cal). Plus 6 sliced local strawberries (30 cal?)

I ended up putting each egg on top of the waffles and ate it like an open-faced sandwich. :P I know a lot of you are probably like, “EWWWWWWW! YUCK!”, but I swear, it’s delicious. :D

All of that deliciousness for only 395 calories! :o Wow! I added it up twice just to be sure lol. Couldn’t I just eat this 4 or 5 times a day? I wouldn’t complain. angel.gif After that loveliness, I went downstairs and did 60 minutes of my obstacle course (walking combined with step board).

Then I came upstairs, did some work (eek!) and before going back downstairs to do my upper body strength training, recumbent bike HIIT and another obstacle course romp, I had a small meal for some energy. I dipped into Dustin’s Cookie Crisp cereal, which actually isn’t that bad as far as sugary cereals go. Only 100 calories per serving and the serving is a decent size:

I wanted some quick energy (and sweets!!) being I planned on being very active for the next 1.5 hours. So, I had a pita sandwich on 1 Joseph’s pita bread (60 cal) with 2oz grilled chicken breast (90 cal?) topped with 1 piece Weight Watchers reduced fat cheddar cheese (45 cal) and some Trader Joe’s no salt added salsa (10 cal)

I had 4oz Calorie Countdown fat free “milk” (25 cal) with my cereal, making the bowl 145 calories

The pita sandwich was good, but when I melted the cheese in the microwave, I think I dried the chicken out a little too much. :?

This mini meal comes to just 350 calories and kept me going through my workout.

Before I went downstairs, I put some sweet potatoes in the oven wrapped in foil so that I could have one when I was done. Mom babysat the sweet ‘tatoes while I went to workout. My neck felt much better, so I went ahead and did upper body strength training, which seemed a little too easy. In hindsight, I’m thinking I should have increased my weights, but oh well, next time for sure. I was SUPER stinky and sweaty when I got done, but I felt good. I took a shower immediately, then hunger hit me like a ton of bricks. That’s when I decided that I wanted a roast beef sandwich from our local pizza place. They make THE BEST roast beef subs because they cook their own roast beef. Aaah, heavenly. So, while I was showering, Dustin placed an order for pizza and a sub, then mom went to pick it up on her way to the bank. By the time I was done with my shower and getting dressed, lunch arrived! YAY!!

I shared the sub with mom, then cut my half in 2 pieces. It had the most delicious roast beef, lettuce, tomato and onion on it. I skipped the mayo and I actually like it like that. I know from experience that they put WAY too much on and I don’t like soggy sandwiches. I also had my 8oz sweet potato (~200 cal) along with my YUMwich that I topped with 57g Friendship 2% cottage cheese (45 cal) and Trader Joe’s no salt added salsa:

Ok, the salsa wasn’t that great with the cottage cheese + sweet potato. I’ve had cottage cheese on sweet potato before and I loved it, so I thought I’d kick it up a notch with a little salsa, but it wasn’t as good as I thought it would be. I still ate most of it though, I was SO hungry!

I want another. I might order another today. It actually makes the perfect post-workout meal. Lots of protein + simple carbs.

Mmmm! Totally worth however many calories it had. I’d estimate around 500-600 calories. Hard to say really.

I’m really hungry right now, so I’m going to have my pre-workout snack/meal. Hasta luego! :)
