I decided not to workout yesterday, I had a lot of other things to do and I just wasn’t feeling like it. I ended up having 2 full-size meals instead of 3 or 4. I guess my brunch held me over for awhile, but I had a few nibbles in between.
I’m on a blueberry kick. They’re just so good! And out of season.
Ah well, the frozen version is just as yummy. I put about 1/3 cup on my yogurt, then 1 serving of Trader Joe’s roasted nuts:

Plus a Tofurky sandwich with lettuce, tomato, and hummus on Trader Joe’s sodium free whole wheat bread and a small honeycrisp apple that I couldn’t resist after slicing one for Dustin.

- 2 slices Trader Joe’s sodium free whole wheat bread (140 cal)
- 1 TBSP Cedar’s original hummus (30 cal)
- Mixed greens + tomato (20 cal)
- 2 slices Tofurky (40 cal)
- 80g honeycrisp apple (~40 cal)
- 6oz Fage Total 0% yogurt (90 cal)
- ~1/3 cup frozen blueberries (25 cal)
- 30g Trader Joe’s honey roasted mixed nuts (190 cal)
Calories: 575 (230 for the sandwich, ~40 for the apple, 305 for the yogurt + berries + nuts)
I had a few more nuts in between, but this held me for over 5 hours. Then I started to make dinner, but I was ravenous by that point, so I had to have a snack while I was cooking. ~1 oz cheddar cheese with 3 Golden Round organic crackers (45 cal):

I made linguine with langostino (they’re like a cross between crawfish and lobster) and red pea sauce. We’ve only had langostino from Trader Joe’s (found in the freezer aisle) and we’ve craved them ever since. They are DELICIOUS! When we went to Trader Joe’s last week, I bought 3 bags of them @ $8.99/each. Love them!

In a separate pot, I boiled 2oz thin linguine (210 cal) and in another small saucepan I added in:
- 1/2 cup Franceso Rinaldi no salt added tomato sauce (70 cal)
- 1/4 of a medium red onion (20 cal)
- 1/4 cup frozen green peas (35 cal)
- 3oz langostino (70 cal)
On the side 1/2 Trader Joe’s garlic Naan bread (120 cal), toasted, with 1 TBSP Cedar’s original hummus (30 cal)

Calories: 555 (405 for the linguine + sauce, 150 for the naan with hummus)
DEEEEEEEEElish!
Can’t wait to have more!
After dinner I had a small scoop of Haagen Dazs chocolate chocolate chip. It was ~1/4 cup that wasn’t picture worthy.
Ok, time to go start the day — VERY late! Ugh, I’ve been up for hours, but I can’t seem to get in the groove. Hopefully the day ends more productively than it started.
