Your dinner looks awesome! I’ve tried to make tomato sauce at home from the beginning but the flavours just keep missing somehow:( maybe I don’t add enough or let it cook long enough (I’m not the most patient cooker ) but something is always missing and it’s a pity because I get a craving for tomato sauce quite often

I use jarred sauce sometimes, especially when I’m in a hurry LOL. They’re never as good though. We always cook it slow on the stove, but you can use a crock pot, too. In fact, I have thought about using mine for that lately.

She doesn’t follow a recipe, she usually just does: meat (ground beef and sometimes ground pork mix), sometimes breadcrumbs, parsley, raisins, oregano, garlic powder and then fried on all sides in a little extra virgin olive oil before going into the pot of sauce.

You talk about your mom’s sauce a lot! I want a recipe! I’ve actually been looking around for a good tomato sauce recipe, sauce out of a jar isn’t cutting it for me anymore…
I’m intrigued by this idea of slowly cooking sauce all day. On the stove or in a crockpot?

I JUST stated to cook my own sauce. I don’t know why I waited so long! Its soooo good! I will never buy Ragu’ again

I’m super excited about the weather this weekend! Its suppose to be close to 60 degrees! Yay!
